My name is Ginaya, I am the General Manager here at Franks Brothers.

CrossFit is what I love. My fitness journey started in my late twenties when I found myself significantly overweight and unhealthy. I began to work hard and after losing 45kgs I realised fitness was my passion.

I became a qualified Personal Trainer and began working at Les Mills as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor teaching BodyPump and GRIT. Eventually my passion led me to start training with CrossFit methodologies. Once I started there was no looking back. Securing a position at Reebok CrossFit Canterbury was a dream come true.

Every day I get to do what I love: train hard, help other people train hard at a level that is right for you.

Jason is one of the senior coaches at Reebok CrossFit Canterbury and has created a life around coaching and exercise.

CrossFit just seemed like a natural progression coming from a background in training and competitive sports. Jason believes the greatest part of CrossFit is the challenge that it will present you with each day. Putting you in a position where you are forced to develop and master fundamental movements and continually develop new skills is the backbone towards creating the most well rounded fitness program. That is why CrossFit makes you better.

The greatest part about coaching at Reebok CrossFit Canterbury for Jason is the opportunity he gets to see everyone around him progress and achieve things that six months or a year ago they never thought would never have been possible. Reaching goals like adding an extra ten kilos to your back squat, getting your first ring muscle up or RX'ing your first workout and the excitement that comes with that is the best part about being a coach.
