Franks Brothers Mobility program is an important part of our offering. Optimal mobility and flexibility allows us to achieve the positions within the movements that we use; this leads to improvements in fitness and strength and also helps to avoid injury. Mobility and flexibility really are a key component of everything that we do.
Being able to achieve optimal positioning in everything that we do helps us to become fitter, faster and stronger. It also helps us to avoid injury by helping to maintain healthy tissue and ensure muscles are working the way the supposed to be.
Franks Brothers Mobility program is specifically designed to complement our CrossFit programming and the requirements of our athlete (that's you!). The coaches will work with the class to ensure that everyone has a way of accessing the positions that is best suited to their individual needs, while working in a small group environment

Franks Brothers Barbell program is specifically designed to help you master the Olympic lifts used in our Strength and Conditioning programs; The Snatch and the Clean and Jerk. The aim of this class is to drill down into the finer details of these movements to help you improve efficiency and over time, strength through confidence and practice. This program is open to all levels of ability and experience; to get the best results it is preferable that you are able to attend class regularly.
The Snatch and Clean and Jerk are both very complicated movements with several layers of detail. In our main classes Franks Brothers coaches ensure that all participants are moving safely and correctly however for individuals who are committed to truly reaching their full potential with these movements, more regular practice is required. Practice helps to build confidence and efficiency which leads to increase in weight being lifted, as well as improved stamina and endurance with these lifts during high repetition workouts.
At Franks Brothers we work with an external weightlifting coach who has personally competed in weightlifting at a Commonwealth level, has nearly 30 years' experience and has coached many athletes to high levels within the weightlifting sport. This is our way of ensuring that we are providing the very best coaching information to our members. All coaches are trained by our highly experienced weightlifting coach to ensure the best information is imparted during class.
Yes absolutely. From the beginner to the more experienced athlete. All you need is a willingness to learn and be taught. Regular attendance is encouraged to ensure maximum benefit.
